“A revival can be expected when Christians have the spirit of prayer for a revival. That is, when they pray as if their hearts were set on it.”
“…Deep, continual, earnest desire for the salvation of sinners is what constitutes the spirit of prayer for a revival.”
“A revival can be expected when Christians are willing to make the sacrifices necessary to carry it on.”
“Thoroughly examine the state of your heart and see where you are. Check to se if you are walking with God every day…”
“There are many who are willing to do almost anything in religion as long as it does not require self-denial.”
“How many times have you thought more and taken more trouble and time decorating your body to go to church, than preparing your mind to worship God? You have attended church caring more about how you appeared physically to other people than how you appeared to the heart-searching God.”
W.G. Bennet:
“…a genuine revival is prayed down. Prayer and fasting have produced a deep, heartfelt concern for lost souls. Parents have labored fro, and with children; young people have become concerned for their companions; children for their playmates. There have been heart-searching confessions and restitutions. The entire church has advanced to new territory. The Holy Ghost has kindled anew the flame of passionate, holy love for the lost.”

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Support revival in this church.

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? Psalm 85:6

The schedule revival services will start next Sunday. This is a time of spiritual renewal, a time to draw closer to God. We all have busy schedules, but nothing is more important than our spiritual life. If, you are able, we encourage you to come to every service. Rev. Richard McKenzie will be speaking every evening at 6:30pm from April 21st through April 28th.

Many will remember Sis. Mary Hatum, a faithful servant of God for many years at this church. There will be a birthday celebration for her next Sunday given to her by her children. All are invited to come and celebrate this occasion with her. See Edith for more information.
