Penn View Bible Institute- Heritage

Words of Thanks:

Dear Friends,
I want to take a moment to greet you after many travels the last few weeks. It was my privilege to attend youth camp with my family, and then to travel to Roxbury, PA. to preach a holiness church camp with your former pastor, Rev. Harold Taylor. He did a fine job. You would have been proud.
Arriving back home we hit the ground running, preparing for this Sunday. Regina has been cleaning house and yard, getting ready for company. Thank you for your hard work, Sweet-heart. Myself, I have been trying to catch up on the business end and also actually was able to replace four lights and a ceiling fan this week at the parsonage.
It is with great gratitude that I pause for a moment to thank some of you for some recent contributions of your own. Thank you to Brother and Sister Hooks for your faithfulness and financial support of this church. We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you, Bro. Esparza for working so hard at the church, rooting out and cutting down the bushes in the front of the church and Alex for cutting the church lawn. Thank you, Barbara, for your sweet spirit and willingness to help, including taking care of the Birthday cards. Thank you, Heather, for your preparations for VBS. Thanks to all of you who take part and go above and beyond the call. This church is small enough to need people willing to work. If you want to invest in the kingdom, and be a real part, this is the church for you!
We will be preparing to pass out fliers the end of next week for the Vacation Bible School.  I could use your help, young’uns!
Let’s keep holding on and praying God’s blessings down on the services. He has been close.

We welcome Penn View Bible Institute to our worship service this morning. PVBI is a good holiness Bible College located in Pennsylvania. They are touring the western states encouraging young people to attend Bible school. An expense offering will be taken to help with traveling cost. There will also be a pot-luck following the service at the parsonage. All are invited to come.

The parking lot is in need of serious repairs. If it is not fixed soon, we will have more serious problems. All the cracks need to be blown out, repacked and filled. Help us pray the financial need for this project.

VBS is just around the corner. Preparations have been on going, but if you still would like to help, please contact Heather.
