Today's Message: From Glory to Glory

Glory to Glory

Dear Friends,
It is good to be with you again today. I hope you have had a wonderful week in God’s care. I was glad to see the good youth group Friday. We also had a great time in service last Wednesday and Sunday. The Lord certainly has been with us.
If you look around you will see that the church is getting a face lift on the outside. Pray for our protection.
A special request for John and Mandy Harmon as they are adjusting to yet another change in their life. Also, please remember John Cooke’s family in prayer. They doubtless are still suffering from the loss of John. We miss the Phillips but they will be back next Sunday. We were glad to see the Croy’s last Sunday, but he is definitely weak and has a struggle every day. Barb is still looking for a job and covets our prayers for her and her family. Thank you for being so supportive. God bless.
Pastor Mike

Once again we have renewed our commitment to support a pastor in India by giving $50 a month to the mission work of the Pilgrim Nazarene Church (PNC). We also were encouraged to give to the India orphanage. God has blessed the PNC India work and your giving has made a difference. Thanks to all, who have taken part in this ministry.

Our monthly church potluck will happen today after the morning service. If you are a visitor, please feel welcome to join us for a time of food and fellowship. We will be eating at the parsonage.   There will be a short service after the pot-luck around 2:00pm.  The evening service will be cancelled for the day.

The Friday night youth group continues to grow every week. All youth 13 years and older are welcome to come and join in on the fun, games, and Bible study. If you have any questions about youth night, ask Alex Esparza.

A revival meeting is tentatively scheduled for October with Rev. Rodney Loper, pastor of the Hobe Sound Bible Church in Florida. The evening services will be sometime the 1st or 2nd week of October.
