HE IS THE LIGHT

Dear Friends,
We are glad to be gathered together to fellowship, worship, and watch the children sing and perform. Beautiful magic surrounds innocent children singing of such a great mystery as the Christmas Story.
“Aren’t we glad that Christ did shine in our night? The night is the emblem and reality of darkness, mystery, gloom, and death. Night is always associated with ignorance and error, with wandering from the true path and the weary search for the safe way.”
Nothing will ever happen to you until the Light shines in your darkness. Only then will God bring beauty, order, and definition to your life.
Every person I have met who does not know Christ in saving power, their life is mess. They are wandering around in the darkness. The first thing God wants to do is step into their heart and world and say, “let there be light!”
If you are hurting, lonely, in pain and don’t know what to do about your mess, recognize the night around you and ask for Christ to come into your heart. The day will dawn in your soul, the creatures of the night will withdraw their hands from you, and you will find beauty and order. There is no soul who sings so beautifully as one who has truly been delivered from the darkness.

2Corinthians 4:6  For God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Welcome this morning to the Children Christmas program. The name of this mornings program is called “Angels Aware” The children have worked hard to bring you this Christmas message. We want to thank Edith Wood and Heather Esparza for all their time and effort working with the children to make this possible.

CHRISTMAS CHURCH DINNER

We want as many people to attend the Church Christmas dinner as possible. The family church dinner will be right after the morning service at the parsonage. We invite everyone that is here this morning to join us. The parsonage is the house across the parking lot to the east. Even if this is your first time visiting our church, we welcome you to come on over and celebrate this special occasion with us. We would love to get better acquainted.
