WBC Children's Ministry: Meet Me At The Manger

Do You Have Yet To Kneel?

What draws immortal souls to Jesus? What drew the wise men from the east?  (not just a star) What drew shepherds from fields? (not just angels) What pulled Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist, to celebrate with Mary the Mother of Christ? God Himself!
God uses many means to draw people into His presence: a friendship, a sermon, bible study, a near brush with death or tragedy, someone’s love and generosity. Never underestimate or mistake the hidden efforts of God to bring you to Himself.
I am fascinated, as many, by the powerful force of God that drew the wise men from so far, a journey possibly nigh unto two years. It is satisfying to see them finally kneel in worship of the king.
But, many have yet to bow the knee…they pass by and glance at the few inside…they admire those from a distance who follow Him and sense something different and mysterious…yet they themselves have not knelt. It is evident in their language, their friends, their entertainment that stains the soul and degrades the temple, their attire, their priorities…
Some are akin to the masses who only “wondered” when shepherds went through the streets telling of their experience. Some are part of the church crowd who knew the Scriptures but feared its impact. Others are like Herod’s crowd that want to be king and will brook no other rival.  They have yet to kneel.

” Come to Bethlehem, and see Him whose birth the angels sing; Come, adore on bended knee Christ the Lord the new born King.”
By French Carol

A big thank you to our wonderful church family for your kindness to us this Christmas. Your gifts and thoughtfulness mean so much. It is our privilege to serve here with you!
We will be spending time with our families in Texas over the Christmas Holiday. If need be, you can reach us at 720-289-5956 or 720-412-6045. We are not sure of the exact day of our return home, but we will look forward to seeing you all again on Sunday, January 1st. We hope each of you have a Merry and Blessed Christmas!   The Yanceys

If you didn’t already figured it out, Christmas day will be on Sunday next week. Some have requested to change the time of church service. We will not be having a morning service, but will have a 5:00pm service. Would love to have as many as can, gather together for a time of song and worship.

I Love You Lord

I love you Lord, and I lift my voice. To worship You. O my soul, rejoice! Take joy, my King. In what You hear; May it be sweet, sweet sound in Your ear.

O Come Let Us Adore Him

O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.

We’ll praise His name forever. We’ll praise His name forever, We’ll praise His name forever, Christ the Lord.

We’ll give Him all the glory. We’ll give Him all the glory, We’ll give Him all the glory, Christ the Lord
